No prior experience is necessary. Our team will provide a safety briefing and instructions before you ride.

Is there an age requirement?

Must be 18 years old to rent. 16 years old can operate solo. 14 & 15 year olds can operate with adult on board. All minors must have an adult guardian present at all times.

Can I bring a passenger?

YES of course! You can ride up 3 per ski However We recommend 1 adult rider per jet ski for the most comfortable experience. Total combined passenger weight must be under 400lbs

We had such a wonderful morning kayaking with Surf City Jet Ski & Watersports! I rented kayaks with my girlfriends, and everything about the experience was easy and enjoyable. The kayaks were sturdy, comfortable, and easy to use, and the employees were so nice, helpful, and welcoming!They helped push us out when we launched, and when I came back, they pulled me in and helped me get out of the kayak, which I really appreciated. The whole team was great! They made the whole process very simple and efficient. Seth was our main point of contact and was out in the water with us. He did a great job, helped us when we needed it and pointed out cool sights like the couple of dolphins that were swimming in the area. During a family trip we decided to give jet skiing a shot, and we’re very glad we chose Surf City Jet Ski and Watersports! For many of us, this was our first time jet skiing and it could not have been made easier and the process any more informative and easy to understand. Our “guide” was awesome. He followed behind throughout our rental period but it didn’t feel like we were being babysat.
